Bio: I have always loved to write, draw, and learn about other people. After my University education in Cultural Anthropology, I was a wife, mother, pottery student, credentialled teacher, helped start a 501c3 to support ceramic arts in the San Diego area, helped to start an art gallery, and started my own community pottery studio in La Mesa, CA. I was married in 1978, and lost my husband to the ravages of a rare auto-immune disease and the consequences of toxic medications he took to prevent an even earlier death. Prior to my husband's death, I sold my business. I joined a local Rotary club to try to help make other people's lives better. I believe each person has the right to be treated with dignity and compassion, even while I do see some I may despise. It is a difficult balance! I want to be able to freely express my feelings and opinions without having to be on social media sites. Blogging seems to be a good fit. Nobody has to read what I have to say if they don't want to read it. But maybe, just maybe, something I write will resonate with someone and will help them in some way to live a happier life.
